Great and Romantic Story!

Crystal has a secret. She desires to have a man be in control inside the bedroom and outside of it. She wants to be able to rely on someone to be there for her and catch her if she falls. There's only one problem. Crystal doesn't want to face her secret because she thinks that it's wrong. Thankfully, her best friend, Ivy knows exactly how to help Crystal and takes her to visit Cobalt Canyon where the handsome Donaven lives. Once there, Donaven gets Crystal's secret out of her and shows her just how wonderful a BDSM relationship can be. Now it's up to Crystal to decide if she can accept what she's always wanted or run from it because she's afraid that it's too good to be true.

This was such a great story! I adored Donaven! He was so patient with Crystal as she came to terms that it's okay if she wanted to be spanked or have him in control in the bedroom. He was always there to help and never pressured Crystal to submit to him. He was a really caring guy.

At the beginning, I was not crazy about Crystal because she was so against BDSM. She came off as very rude towards anyone who liked it. But, once she came around and saw that a husband giving his wife a consensual spanking is not the same thing as abuse, she turned out to be a good person. It was interesting to see how she processed everything that she learned about the lifestyle. She still struggled with a few things that she found out, but with Donaven's help, she was able to accept them more easily.

Another thing that I really enjoyed was how Ms. Parks incorporated so many different types of kinks in to this story. Normally a story has one kink in it, maybe two. With this story, there were several. Each couple had their own kink from age play to F/m. I hope that each couple gets their own story, starting with Crystal's best friend, Ivy!!

The last thing that made this story so excellent was the cover. It was a perfect picture of Crystal and Donaven and also Cobalt Canyon itself. It makes me want to visit!

This really was an awesome story with a great cast of characters, an ending that had me crying happy tears, some hot sex scenes, and several jokes that had me laughing. I'm really looking forward to what Ms. Parks has in store next for readers!

This book was a fantastic read!!! So spicy and sexy with just the right amount of intrigue to make you not want to put it down until its done! I loved putting myself in the place of Crystal and imagining the possibilities. Really takes you right into a woman's deepest fantasies!!!

Poor Crystal. She's not really sure what she wants, but it's fair to say that it's most certainly not Kevin.Thankfully, Ivy has her friend all weighed up and introduces her to 'ruggedly-absolutely-drop-dead-gorgeous' Donaven. If I'm gushing, it's because he's quite a guy! He's going to introduce Crystal bit by bit into the world of BDSM, and she's either going to sink or swim. At first, it was a close run thing... but then things really take off and - oh my - this is kink-a-vicious from start to finish. There's a little bit of everything to tease and torment your senses, and once you've taken a bite, you aren't putting this book down.

LOVED IT.

Essential for Disc Golfers in Michigan

There is an amazing amount of information in this (2nd edition) book. I use it to navigate disc golf courses all over Michigan. It has directions to every course, distances for every hole, well written course descriptions and additional info like a parks bathroom situation and alcohol policy. It really is a labor of love by Ms. Myers and that shows through from the front page to the last. If you play disc golf in Michigan this is an essential book. Extra supplmental curriculum for fairytale writing

I used this book to help teach my students about fairy tales and lead them through writing their own-I think it can work for 2nd grade through 5th!! :)

Excellent for teaching

I am highly impressed by this book. I teach language arts to elementary and middle school children part time, and this book is wonderful to help them understand the core concept of the fairytale and encourage them to write their own stories. The book has wonderful examples that are easy to follow and great ideas to encourage your child or student to venture into the world of writing and reading. Perfect solution for the reluctant child.

Wonderful Step by Step book!

This book is a terrific resource if you are teaching young writers how to write their own fairy tale. My students loved the illustration and the key points/elements that the author numbered throughout the book. This helped them to make sure they included those elements when creating their own fairy tale. I can't wait to read the other books in this series.
